SUJET :

Precipitation il y a 7 ans 7 mois #368

Hi,

Since the precipitation values are indicated as mm / h, I thought that they refer to the intensity of the rain, that is to say, an instantaneous value at the given moment that indicates the intensity of the rain. However, by simultaneously checking the data for the same place and from the same model, but using gribs with different time intervals between the predictions, I have realized that precipitation refers to the accumulated precipitation in the time interval between the predictions. And, therefore, the correct units must be mm and not mm / h (the latter is correct only if the time interval is 1 h).

So I suggest changing precipitation to accumulated precipitation and mm / h to mm.

Best regards,
Tropelio
