Hi,

It's impossible to open Arome 0.001° grib2 files (SP1), I always get
It's not a GRIB file,
or it contains unrecognized data

I also get this console output:
g2_unpack7: Data Representation Template 5.40 not yet implemented.
g2_getfld: return from g2_unpack7 = 4

Hello,
Downloading files directly from MeteoFrance is not an easy task as the connexion is not very good and the files quite large and may need treatment before used with XyGrib.
I suggest that you use the precut files available on WeatherD4 : grib.weather4d.com/AromeHD.

I will open an issue on github to ensure that the Arome gribs are better handled in the next release.

Hi again,
I checked with the next version (1.1.1) and the AROME gribs for SP1 and SP2 are read ok (SP3 contains only some quite esoteric parameters which are not read by XyGrib)
The problem in version 1.1.0 is related to Jpeg2000 compression which is not handled. This is fixed in the next version soon to be released.
