No bulk downloads - PLEASE! THIS IS OVERLOADING OUR SERVER AND DENYING ACCESS TO COMMUNITY USERS

Hello David,

Just found a minor issue. xyGrib provides the choice to download Icon files up to 8 days while the model produces data for no more than 5 days.

I have been able to download 8 daye for ICON, may be there is a problem with v1.1.2, but not with the next release that should be available soon on the website, with some interesting news things.

Hello Dom,
I'm surprised that you manage to download 8 days because DWD explains on their website: The forecast horizon is +180 hours for the two model runs at 00 and 12 UTC and +120 hours for the other two runs at 06 and 18 UTC. Not a big deal however and looking forward for things to come...

Hi Ruud,

The opengribs.org grib server prepares only the 00UTC and the 12UTC runs for ICON Global which are both 180 hours of forecast. The XyGrib setting allows requesting up to 8 days but this is actually 7.5 days of data.
