Once XyGrib_xx.ts is modified and saved, you need to generate XyGrib_xx.qm and put the updated file in .../data/tr/ folder. I recommend to use the new location as any future updates to the static data (colors, translations etc.) will go to this location. All one needs to do is to rename the folder in the old location (i.e. 'data_old') and restart the XyGrib program. It should find the new location and reset the preference setting to use this location.
